Temporary side effects may include: redness, itchy skin, mild follicle swelling, irritation on treatment areas. All of which are normal post Laser Hair Removal treatment. It is important to follow the correct prep and aftercare to receive maximum results with minimal side effects to the treatment.

Depending on the patient’s skin and hair type, results are typically seen following 6 to 8 treatment sessions. There are a number of factors that can affect the number of treatments you will need but generally, after each treatment, you will notice a permanent reduction in the number of hairs in the treatment area. Typically, 6-8 treatments are required to permanently reduce the number of hairs by more than 80%, six months after the last treatment. You may need smaller top-up sessions spaced from 12 weeks to 3 years depending on your individual hair growth and hormones.

No, unfortunately, we cannot treat over tattoos with our laser. We can treat around the tattooed areas with a gap of 3cm.

Depending on your hair and skin type and your treatment area, you will usually require treatments at 4-6 week intervals. As your treatment progresses we will recommend a bigger gap in between your sessions. Each part of the body has a different hair growth cycle, so the hair loss will vary depending on what phase your follicles are in at the time of treatment.

Yes - any type of hair supplements/ injections can affect your treatment progress as they can stimulate hair growth. We recommend to not consume hair supplements during or after the treatment course.

Yes - you can still have laser hair removal treatment while on your period. We advise you to be freshly showered and to wear a tampon or menstrual cup if you would like to have your bikini area treated.

Our laser works best with dark hair and pale skin. Unfortunately, we can not treat blonde, grey/white and some types of light red hair with our Laser Hair Removal treatment. The light of the laser is only attracted to the melanin (pigment) of the hair hence these hair colours cannot be treated.

Our customers must be at least 18 years of age to have any laser or skin treatments.

There are no conclusive studies on laser being safe or unsafe for pregnant or breastfeeding women. However we advise you to postpone your treatment until you are not pregnant/breastfeeding to be on the safe side.
